Roy Rogers
This tv show was about a 1950's
cowboy, his wife, their friends and their horses. They lived
their lives on the Double R Ranch when they weren't out fighting
bad guys. Roy Rogers' horse "Trigger" and dog "Bullet"
would often rescue one of the actors from peril. Trigger was
known as the "Smartest Horse In The Movies" (He and Roy
made nearly 100 movies).

Roy Rogers, also known as the "King of the
Cowboys", was actually born in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dale Evans
was also known as the "Queen of the Cowgirls".
Roy and Dale's ranch was the "Double 'R' Ranch".
After the series ended on NBC's Sunday prime time lineup, it
returned on CBS in reruns from 1961 to 1964.
