His death is a mystery.He was found with his eyes opened, presumably of an overdose of antipsychotic medication,but police investigated it as a murder,and Carol Nugent his ex-wife also agrees with this theory.Thus,whether it was accidental or suicide or a murder remains a mystery.

This tv show was about an ex-confederate soldier who wandered the old west after the end of the civil war. He was tough in times when one had to be tough. He also helped people who were being endangered by carpetbaggers, gunslingers, etc.
